Ms Fang joined AIF Capital in 2011 with 20 years of private equity, direct investment and financial services experience. Her responsibilities include deal origination, structuring, and managing investments in the PRC market. She was most recently with IBM as Investment Director where she led efforts in building its China direct investments track record in multiple sectors including manufacture, software, services, telecom, and broad IT industry. Prior to IBM, Ms Fang was with GE Capital as a Director responsible for distressed assets acquisition business in China. Previous to that, she held various positions participating and leading transactions across debt and equity financings with GE Capital Europe, Bovis Lend Lease in the UK, as well as with a number of Chinese financial institutions that included The Export-Import Bank of China, China Securities Company Limited and The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. A PRC national, Ms Fang holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from China Institute of Finance and Banking and an MBA degree from City University Business School (London). Based in Beijing, Ms Fang is fluent in Mandarin and English.
