Bharti Infratel is the world’s largest independent, passive wireless infrastructure provider. Infratel is majority-owned by Bharti Airtel, India’s largest mobile telephony operator.
Infratel has also entered into a joint venture with Vodafone and Idea Cellular, two of the other largest mobile operators in India, to set up Indus Towers. Infratel owns 42% of Indus and jointly, the two companies own and operate more than 130,000 telecom towers and associated facilities across all 23 telecom circles in India.
